What an unbelievable DTM season finale it was at the Hockenheimring. Winning the DTM drivers‘ championship is the biggest success of my career so far. I will remember that moment for the rest of my life. To end the season on top in this series means a lot to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title was the goal from the very beginning of the season and together with my highly professional and superbly operating Manthey EMA team we were consistently fast at all racetracks and were able to fight back from setbacks which strengthened us. Winning the team championship is a testimony of that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A big thanks to the team leadership, my engineers and mechanics, the team management and the communications department, my team mate Dennis and everyone at Manthey-Racing in Meuspath. Working and winning with you driving the Porsche 911 GT3 in the cult Grello design – for me one of the best-known Porsche liveries in the world – has been a motivating factor and I am thankful to Porsche for the support and this opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was war das f\u00fcr ein unglaubliches DTM-Saisonfinale auf dem Hockenheimring. Der Gewinn der DTM-Fahrermeisterschaft ist der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Erfolg meiner bisherigen Karriere. Ich werde mich f\u00fcr den Rest meines Lebens an diesen Moment erinnern. Die Saison in dieser Serie an der Spitze zu beenden, bedeutet mir sehr viel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Titel war von Beginn der Saison an das Ziel und gemeinsam mit meinem hochprofessionellen und hervorragend arbeitenden Manthey EMA Team waren wir auf allen Rennstrecken konstant schnell und konnten uns von R\u00fcckschl\u00e4gen erholen, was uns gest\u00e4rkt hat. Der Gewinn der Teammeisterschaft ist ein Beleg daf\u00fcr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ein gro\u00dfes Dankesch\u00f6n an die Teamf\u00fchrung, meine Ingenieure und Mechaniker, das Team Management und die Kommunikationsabteilung, meinen Teamkollegen Dennis und alle bei Manthey-Racing in Meuspath. Mit ihnen zu arbeiten und zu gewinnen, und das im Porsche 911 GT3 Kult Grello Design – f\u00fcr mich eine der bekanntesten Porsche-Lackierungen der Welt – hat mich motiviert und ich bin Porsche dankbar f\u00fcr die Unterst\u00fctzung und diese Chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
